According to an excerpt of Jesse James interview about Sandra Bullock on ABC Nightline that was obtained by People Magazine, he claims estranged wife Sandra Bullock was “proud” of him for checking into rehab earlier this year. “I just told her I was going to get some help,” the 41-year-old says of his decision to enter rehab shortly after he publicly apologized for cheating on Bullock, then his wife of five years. Jesse James: I still love Sandra Bullock.

Before Jesse James’ interviewed about Sandra Bullock, in his first TV interview since the scandal, the Monster Garage star also said his Oscar-winning wife was suspicious before he apologized for “poor judgment” and asked his wife and children for forgiveness.

“I think she’s had her suspicions in the past, but, you know, I lied and lied my way out of it,” James says in the interview. “I lied to everyone about everything, even to myself.”

Since his public mea culpa and stint in rehab, Bullock filed for divorce in April and announced that she had adopted a 3 1/2-month-old baby boy as a single parent.

In Jesse James interview about Sandra Bullock, she also discusses the criticism he received after being photographed wearing a Nazi hat while in rehab. “I could tell by the look on my face [in the photo] it was a joke that was funny then, probably for a minute. But then looking at it in the context of now and in my life, it’s not funny,” James told Nightline. “There’s not a racist bone in my body.”

James said the controversy surrounding the hat only made it that much more difficult to cope with the demise of his marriage. “Dealing with losing my marriage and my son and embarrassing everyone and decimating my life … to be called a racist on top of that is, it makes me really sad.”

Kevin Ellison Arrested On Monday

San Diego Chargers safety namely Kevin Ellison arrested Monday after police found more than 100 Vicodin pills in the defensive back’s car. According to the Long Beach Press Telegram, police pulled Kevin Ellison over for speeding in a school zone, and the pills were found during a subsequent search of the Charger’s vehicle.

He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, San Diego DUI Defense reported.

KTLA reports that Kevin Ellison did not have a prescription for the pills. He was released from a Redondo Beach, Calif. jail on $10,000 bail.

Kevin Ellison attended USC and was a 6th round choice in the 1999 NFL draft. According to some sources that available on the net, he is the younger brother of Bills linebacker Keith Ellison.

Kevin Ellison arrested on Monday is just another day of an athlete caught doing something useless.

Paul Gray Dead; Slipknot Bassist Died

Slipknot and Slipknot fans are in mourning today. One of the most talented musicians who also the founder of Slipknot, bassist Paul Gray, dead in a room at Iowa hotel early Monday morning (May 24). According to some reports, Slipknot bassist died at 38. There was no immediate reports on the cause of death.

The Des Moines Register reported that police were called to the TownePlace Suites hotel in Urbandale, Iowa, shortly before 11 a.m. after an employee discovered Paul Gray dead in a hotel room. There was no evidence of foul play, police told the newspaper, but the investigation is ongoing and Paul Gray autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday. A toxicology test will also be done to determine any contributing factors to his death.

A spokesperson for Slipknot’s label, Roadrunner Records, confirmed the report to MTV News.

Gray, better known as #2 or “The Pig” because of the mask he wore while performing with Slipknot, helped form the group in 1995, along with current members Shawn “Clown” Crahan and Joey Jordison. Though the band’s lineup shifted over the years — with members departing or switching instruments — Gray’s position within the group remained constant: He was the only bass player Slipknot ever had.

The group would release four albums, the last of which — 2008′s All Hope Is Gone — debuted at #1 on the Billboard albums chart. They spent most of the next year touring the world before taking an extended break at the end of 2009. Earlier this year, Gray announced that he would be using the time off to play with hard-riffing supergroup Hail!, featuring Tim “Ripper” Owens, Megadeth’s David Ellefson and Sepultura’s Andreas Kisser.

In 2003, Gray was arrested on drug-possession charges after police discovered small amounts of marijuana, cocaine and two syringes in his vehicle following a traffic accident in Des Moines. Those charges were eventually dropped; Gray admitted he was under the influence of drugs at the time of the accident.

Brittany Murphy’s husband, a British screenwriter Simon Monjack, was found dead Sunday night in Hollywood, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

Monjack, 39, was pronounced dead after the Los Angeles Fire Department was called there for a medical emergency, according to police.

His cause of death was not immediately known.

Murphy, 32, died in December from a combination of pneumonia, an iron deficiency and multiple drug intoxication, a coroner said. The drugs involved were legal and used to treat a respiratory infection, according to an autopsy.

The often bubbly, free-spirited actress appeared in films such as “Clueless,” “8 Mile,” “Don’t Say a Word” and “Girl, Interrupted.”

She also lent her voice to animated works, including the movie “Happy Feet” — in which she also sang — and a regular role on the animated TV series “King of the Hill.”

The couple had no children.
